I had heard of this cat yearrrrrss ago when he was with the Goodie Mob but had never checked out any of they're material. When he performed with Prince I believe on 2/7/11 is when I discovered how good this cat is. I had heard "Crazy" numerous times & never knew who it was. Then Prince began to cover it live & I didn't dislike it, but it was not something I would constantly spin. Cee Lo's music is starting to become a drug & i've began searchin' out all of current material for a test listen & I must say this guy is just that GODAMM GOOD! Check out the Closet Freak/Sexuality on YT & maybe you'll see where i'm coming from. Again Prince has turned me on to another artist that may have slipped through my ears. Thanks

I think his earlier stuff is extremely underrated. People think he just hit the scene a couple of years ago when Crazy came out. Although, I'm glad people stopped calling him Gnarls Barkley.

Most people don't even know about the 1st 10 years of his career.

Exactly, his first 2 solo albums were the sho nuff truth. Glad he finally caught on in one way or another but I really want him to give the masses some of that soul that he came out with.

Yeah, his 1st 2 solo albums were dope, but I'm talking about when he was in Goodie Mob. He's one of the best rappers in the world, and most people don't even know he even raps!

I love the man, his 3 solo albums, 2 with Gnalres Barkley and Goodie stuff i love it all. If i met Cee-Lo Janelle, Andre, Big Boi the dengeon crew we would be best friend's.

I don't think he's overrated, except for "Fuck You". Overexposed now? Probably.

I went to the 2/7 MSG show where he opened and although I appreciate him being a real singer, there's just something about him that bugs me to death and I can't quite figure it out, LOL! Sorry C-Lo but you irritate me

I agree. I bought his latest cd and only listened to it a few times. It's not that good.

That's true. He's usually a mess when it comes to live performances, as if he just doesn't give a shit. His studio work is amongst my favorite right now, so I wish he'd put more effort into his concerts.

On top of everything else, he has the nerve to have an all-girl band who not one of them appeared to be over a size zero and let's just say Cee-Lo's not the smallest guy in the world....
