Anyone knows something? This is one of the most meaningful albums in my life, and I think it was relevant enough to have a super-deluxe reissue, one big, big box with the album, the singles, the videos, the outtakes, posters, Bono's glasses and blessing...

I don't think so. It was/is critically acclaimed, as a big step forward in their career and a successful combination of contemporary sound and classic tunes. Recently, I think the Rolling Stone magazine proclaimed it the best 90's album. Of course, you can also find negative reviews, but the majority were really positive.

Regarding sales, I don't know how many copies it sold, but I think it was very successful, even more if one considers how different the album was from Joshua Tree and Unforgetable Fire.
