If you think that is funny--check out James Taylor's one and only acting gig from 1971 in "Two Lane Blacktop!" eek I never knew he was in a film; but, I can see why he never was again! lol

I have seen this before, and I am glad he stayed with singing. I have, EVERYONE of his albums. He is one of those singers, that has never put out anything bad.

He's a true original, a one-of-a-kind singer/songwriter with a singular smooth voice which is instantly recognizable. And he sounds just as good today. We're lucky to have him. cool

I also think Elvis did it better. I'm a fan of JT too.

I think Elvis's version was too over the top.

Being able to play any James Taylor tune was a great way to attract the ladies back in the day. guitar

One of my favorite recorded performances by him is this duet with Mark Knopfler...

...Sailing To Philadelphia

Anyone a fan of his brother, Livingston?

[img:$uid]http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov200/drd300/d334/d33456b70t6.jpg[/img:$uid]

...He did a beautiful version of Isn't She Lovely on his 1997 album Ink.

Now someone was nice enough to upload the complete album to YouTube who've blocked it for a copyright infringement.
Don't they understand that the poster is actually doing free promo for the artist and isn't making a cent? mad

Livingston discussing his 2010 release and performing the title cut...

...Last Alaska Moon
