The Rest of Kajagoogoo ...

Kajagoo are remembered today as basically a "haircut"/fashion band from the 80's who had a big hit with "Too Shy" --and that's probably how they were marketed. But after that hit, lead singer Limahl went solo --(actually, was let go --the band was trying to reach an older audience and they thought Limahl was too "Teenybopper")--and they faded from the charts. In a bid to reach an older audience, they introduced a more mature sound with their album, "Islands" and Bassist/Chapman Stick player Nick Beggs assumed the lead vocals........but the public had moved on to other things...
While I'm a big fan of Too Shy, I always thought that they showed even more promise with their other material.....

Kajagoogoo - Islands
Kajagoogoo - Part Of Me
Kajagoogoo - Melting The Ice Way

I agree about the post-Limahl material.

I dig his playing on the Chapman Stick
From one of their recent albums, "Gone to The Moon":

Kajagoogoo - Last Day (2009)
Kajagoogoo - First Girl On Mars (2009)
