The estate seems concerned over Michael's legacy with regards to how the tribute concert is being run.

So the question is:

If the tribute concert ends up being cancelled, will the fans/public think poorly of MJ (he doesn't have the pull to get artists involved) or will fans/public just think "typical, those Jacksons can't organise anything"?

Personally, as it's not Estate run, I don't see it as an MJ product, thus I see as a family run thing and expect it to be shoddy and poorly put together. If it doesn't end up happening I won't be surprised.

I think the artists involved thus far are sincere, but don't expect it to be a smooth ride.
