Lead single from Noel's High Flying Birds self-titled debut album.

Hmm, that wasn't bad but as a lead single I expected something different. I didn't really care for the New Orleans style horns but I can understand him wanting to branch out a bit and try something different. As much as I loved Oasis they didn't really have a very diverse sound.

Better than Beady Eye's recent offerings, although it reminds me of "The Importance Of Being Idle" . I'm counting on guitar anthems à la "Supersonic" on the album. Hey, I can dream, can't I?

I really like it. Refreshing, is the best word I can think of. No it does not sound like "hit single" but does something better. It is so good and refreshing it whets my appetite to buy the entire album.

"I'm watching my TV/ or is it watching me" is one of my favorite rhyming couplets from the song. Typical Noel, making it all seem easy.

I really like it, has quite an old fashioned vibe about it with the horns, sounds like a typical Noel song

Doesn't quite fulfill what McGee was promising, I prefer the two Beady Eye singles.

It's a pretty good track, Noel is a wanker and probably going to hate this eventually[as he hates most of Oasis music] But it's a good track can't wait for the album

This album may be brillian and that's great, but I still won't really care. Never really been an Oasis fan, even though I think they produced a handful of BRILLIANT songs.

However! The album Noel is rumored to be releasing next year with Amorphous Androgynous? THAT I am excited for! I mean like, holy crap balls am I excited about that concept.

Noel Announces Live Shows

Noel Gallagher has announced his new band's very first live dates, set to take place this October.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will play just three shows, the first at Dublin Olympia Theatre on October 23 before a stop atEdinburgh Usher Hall on October 27 and finishing up at London HMV Hammersmith Apollo on October 29.

The shows will see the elder Gallagher brother playing his first shows with the High Flying Birds. As well as playing solo material, he also plans to air some classic Oasis tracks.

Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am on Friday August 5.
