Robin Thicke - "A Beautiful World" / "The Stupid Things" [2003] These are probably my 2 favorite songs on (Robin) Thicke's debut album (with apologies to "Brand New Jones"). FWIW, there's a piece in the score for the show "Dexter" that's eerily reminiscent of "The Stupid Things."

What does the Org think about these (IMO underrated) songs? "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I love love love "The Stupid Things". To me it's the best song he's ever done. "I don't think you'd do well in captivity." - random person's comment to me the other day

It's certainly up there. I'd have to pick "Would That Make U Love Me" or "You're My Baby," though. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Ahhh..before he sold out and went all--well, lord knows what he morphed into. Such a shame. Space for sale...

I would love if he went back to something along the lines of his first album.

Yeah, I still think you need to revisit that album. It really is quite nice. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

It is buried deep in the archives..............I'm sure I'll find it one of these days.
