It's time for Janelle to get naked...it seems the only way to getting attention by younger audiences right now( as a female artist)

with Adele exception for a clear reason...

Gaga has a bit of talent, but she turns me off with her theatrics....let the talent speak for itself.

If ya got it, you will stay and maintain a music career.

Some will say that Prince, at the same age, was overly theatrical.

The difference is that Prince is an OVERLY talented Mofo....he can do whatever the hell he pleases.

Gaga still has to marinate.

Janelle ain't gonna do that. I don't see her doing that anytime soon. She may depart from the pompadour and suits for something a little more funky though (like Badu in recent years) but you can forget about her showing her body. Even in the video for "Cold World" where she apparently WAS naked, you only saw her face.

I think the major difference was P had a camp, whereas as GaGa is camp.

Yeah I believe that. They come from different backgrounds, you can tell. Plus Gaga's act seems to have been birthed from her early career where she did burlesque shows with Lady Starlight.

I know ...in fact i respect her for this ..she had the fro (funky style) pre Cindy M alter-ego when she was wearing colours and skirts....

I'm curious to see how she will change her look after the last suite...

That's how I first saw pictures of her with the 'Fro.

She is ok. This decade is brand new, but I am going with Adele as the best so far.

I would say Gaga will be the Cindy Lauper of this decade.

Interesting analogy.

I like Gaga and I do think she is talented, as is Adele.

We'll see what the next few years bring - but I am anticipating some good music coming from both of these ladies - who both exude a lot of soul.
