She gives life on that stage.

What is the problem? ... she is receiving love across the nation by millions so why is this even a discussion.

Who is hating on her ...ok maybe 50,000 haters to 5 millions gaga fans.

There to many people who love gaga so its not even relevant to discuss people who hate her for no reason.

That's because Prince.org is made up mostly of old people and music snobs who don't 'get' Lady Gaga; and I doubt a piano performance of one of her weakest songs is gonna change anybody's mind. I am a fan, though.

i'm kind of weird... i hate like 98% of the songs on her albums. i just don't have an ear for that euro/dance/techno-pop that she does... but when its just her and a piano...at that moment, I'm a huge fan. if she did a whole album like that... i'd get it. even if it was just acoustic versions of current songs. to me... they're 100x better that way.

Well every since I've been on here I've seen nothing but negative stuff.

I am not a hater(hate is a strong word), but when she first came into my radar i thought, hmm maybe this girl has something. Although time has shown me that through all the lip gloss, wacky costumes and stage gimmicks, the style dwarves the substance by quite a considerable measure. By that i mean her music is at best, decent throwaway dance hall songs.

Age don't matter, there's a bunch of folks Tyler's age that don't like her. But it's their prerogative just like it's people's prerogative to like her. Stop worrying about who hates her or don't get her. If you like her that's all that matters. Not everybody's gonna like an artist you like, same with everybody not hating the same artist they're hating. She's talented though but yeah that's all I'm gonna say about it and I'm gonna leave this alone before it turns into some stupid ass musical snobbery bullshit like 95% of the music topics on this site always do.

You know?! Just as ridiculous as giving Beyonce Artist of the Millennium, and we're only 11 years into it! Sounds kinda desperate in my opinion. Give the artists some time to grow and really show what they've got! Wait before the decade/millennium is almost over before making a declaration!

The music industry and listeners were so starved for something new and fresh, and they got it, which is why everyone jumped on Gaga so quickly. However, she still needs longevity and substance in order to be in the history books. There are a lot of "breaths of fresh air" comin' out of the woodwork, too, so just like we're giving Gaga a chance, we need to give them a chance as well before callin' it a day.
