Hell, Lady V has been a local legend at making this song her own since as long as I can remember in the early 1980s when WKXI used to be on AM radio and now it's time for me to dethrone her ass.

On The Soul Children's "Tell Me What's Happening Baby", J Blackfoot is talking and Lady V answers his questions and he answers her back. I tell ya, back in the day DJs were very entertaining and it has been a very big influence on me. Fuck a cold ass computer that just plays songs with a DJ's voice at the beginning and end announcing the songs. I want a "personal touch" and I want to be entertained.

This is O/T but I was listening to your "Ice Cold" mix on PodOmatic today Andy and I love it.

I've been playing it all night and it did make me shake my ass! ha. I was skeptical at first that it would make me dance but then again knowing the music you're into, I should have known better.

I want to make my own now, but great stuff .
