Christine McVie appreciation thread

I miss Christine McVie,does anyone know what she's up to these days? On a recent vinyl dig,I bought a copy of her 1984 solo album.Remember these two great singles?

"Got A Hold On Me"

"Love Will Show Us How" (this video is hilarious!) lol

Love her. I wish she'd record with Fleetwood Mac again, without touring. That was the reason she left/retired.

I refuse to go to a Fleetwood Mac concert unless Christine is a part of it.Without her,it doesn't feel like a real reunion.

I'm a big Fleetwood Mac fan. Christine is awesome. She has a beautiful voice and is a very good musician. I feel the same way about the rest of the band members.

Ms. McVie has keep a pretty low profile since leaving the group, though she has attended a Fleetwood Mac concert are two. I read something a week ago she went to a Mac concert. Kinda strange but if you are "done", I guess you done.

Does that include the Peter Green era members? razz

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

She seemed to be the steadying influence of the group, but I don't know too much about FM's dynamics.

Yeah, certainly. She grounded both Lindsey's near neurosis and Stevie's witchy weirdness. A band that truly need each other. nod

I've been listening a lot to Christine's track Why from Mystery to Me (1973). A lovely piece of work.

I don't care about the tour, I was referring to a new studio album with the superstar lineup.
