HELP! Looking for A New Kind of Family Janet episodes I'm looking for episodes of a New Kind of Family featuring Janet and Rob Lowe. I've been searching and have had no success. Does anyone have them from that time? | |

I worked on this show back in the day with Janet on the last episode. Its not many episodes they did of this show. So that is why its so hard to find. I would like to find it myself.  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. |

From what I've found online, it was on from late 1979 to early 1980. It must have been a mid-season replacement or something.

I'm thinking maybe six or seven episodes,could be more. I know it didn't last a season. Janet played the neighbor & daughter of Telma Hopkins character. The show starred Eilien Brennan a very nice actress. I can't really remember the plot of it.I only worked on one episode of it. Barely remember Rob Lowe. I was just barely in my teens at the time. will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! It was! It was my first time meeting Janet. I have been looking for it. I never even seen clips of it since it first aired. I was able to reconnect with Janet a few years ago & share memories of it. But I didn't get the chance to ask her where I can find it.
That clip "daPrettyman" found didn't really show anything to advertise the show well. I don't think they put that much promotion in it to make it last. I always felt if a network(abc in this case) wants a show to work it will.. will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! No the "Facts of Life" didn't have a spin-off. It had just came on the air in the late summer of 1979,which was a spin off of "Different Strokes" on NBC. This show was on ABC. will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! The production company was Gordon-Eisner Productions who are now defunct. Distributed through ABC if that is any help. will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"!
