Enjoying the new album! Anyone had a chance to listen?

Just downloaded this but need to give it a good listen. How do you rate it so far??

It's a grower.

I didn't have any expectations for the album sound-wise, but still felt a bit underwhelmed. Some of the songs like "Summertearz," "Little Man," even past material, were different in concert; longer. So, I guess I was expecting more danceable grooves.

It's hard to describe their sound:

electronic

spacey

80's

R&B

pop

.. they've seemed to have lost a bit of the jazziness that was so present on their first album.

Still figuring it out..

That description sounds alot like the best stuff on "Machine Dreams", to me. Which is a gooood sign.

Yeah, it continues from Machine Dreams, for sure. But it's even spacier.

This album is awesome! I still think "Machine Dream" is a little better than this one, but I love that album, So it's hard to say right now. But I really do like this one

I love "Feather" as well. It's one of their best songs!

Have you had the chance to listen to "When I Go Out"?

It's definitely their most experimental work.
