I know I might get some hate for this but I like Beatle covers more than I like their versions which is really weird. I can't listen to the Beatles but I luv their cover songs.

Is it possibly because they're from the 60s and you don't like older music?

Bingo. I can't listen to alot of older music. I was born in 77 and I can only listen to music from 1970 on up. I don't know why. Anything from the 50's and 60's hurts my ears

Yeah it's not for everybody. I came to that conclusion long time ago. It's like cool. lol But I can't help it. I love old school music and I love the Beatles' originals as much as I love the covers (that I do love).

Thanks SoulAlive,

That was lovely in more ways than one.

Besides finding the interpretation of the song to be very rich and soulful I kept thinking back to India Arie's first hit about not being "the girl in your video" and finding her passionate expression of the song's message to be so much more attractive in this video than the featured dancer was.

Beauty is so, so much more than being only skin deep.

Perfect tune for Benson's singing on top of playing style! And who was that bass player? He's a monster on that riff!

Not sure how to explain what you did wrong.

If you "reply with quote" you can see what I did.

nod I agree.

The video is nice. Santana is my most favorite guitarist in the whole world. i've seen him live countless times. His skill and India's raspy sweet intelligent sounding voice create a very pleasing sound in music for me.

thx. i'm gonna go play it again. cool

No answer yet? I'll give it a shot.

Two bass players are credited on George Benson's...

[img:$uid]http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov200/dre700/e722/e722469jtm0.jpg[/img:$uid]

...The Other Side of Abbey Road album.

Ron Carter: one of the most well known acoustic bass players in the world of Jazz
Jerry Jemmott: based on the tracks he's played on, should be one of the better known electric bassists.

My guess would be Jerry Jemmott on that track.

Another Jazz guitarist's Beatles take.

Grant Green...

Elvin Jones - drums
Larry Young - organ
Hank Mobley - sax
