Kanye is already robbed because "Power" wasn't nominated for Video of the Year. So, instead they nominate one of the biggest disappointments of the year with "All of the Lights"? Don't get me wrong Rihanna looked nice in suspenders and all but those damn flashing lights killed it for me. I think I watched it once.
They'll probably give "Power," Best Art Direction or something like that. I thought Power was brilliantly simple and grand. It wasn't the "Greatest Video Ever" or nothing but I found it refreshing.
I see the Beyonce machine is still in full effect too. Oh well, I won't be watching anyway so...... | |

Pretty much. I used to love the VMA's. I'd make sure i'd record it on VHS every year back in the day. Now, I couldn't care less.
MTV is a joke. All they do is show reality shows like "Teen Mom", Jersey Shore and teen centered shows. MTV no longer stands for Music TeleVision and they haven't been music centered for some time.

seriously i dont know, thats how long its been since i have looked at the channel, i think its all jersey shore spinoffs and Hills shows and things like that, and "whore for your teenagers birthday" where parents spend a million on some bratty loser kid that just needs a smack for his or her birthday, MTV and all its spinoffs and BET are nothing but pure 100% garbage.
