Tyler Collins "Whatcha Gonna Do" (1989)

Anyone remember her? She was one of those singers who managed to get a couple hits (her other popular song was "Girls Nite Out") in the cluttered New Jack Swing era of r&b before fading into obscurity.

She was pretty and could sing, but nothing stood out about her so maybe that's why she didn't last too long shrug

Anyway I like this track music For you guys out there who only care about sex and nothing else disbelief lol no no no!

Prince had a crush on her lol He asked her to appear in Graffiti Bridge but she declined, saying she didn't want to become "just another Prince girl".He later convinced her to sign to Paisley Park Records but the label was shut down before her album could get released.

I remember Tyler Collins. Years after her brief bit of fame, I was not surprised to learn that Prince found his way to her. If Prince was a dog, he'd definitely be a sight and scent hound. biggrin

perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...

Tyler Collins she certainly brings back memories. I liked 'Girls Nite Out' but she fell into that category of an One Hit Wonder because she didnt have another pop hit. I dont know who were her producers but she should've sustain a longer career. Not sure of the direction she wanted to go in POP or R&B. I wonder if she was romantically linked to anyone famous Im sure guys tried to contact her manager for her number.beg
