This was never featured on the Virgin Tour Video set from Detroit- Stupid Warner Bros.. Which sucks cause she never performed after this again until- the Sweet and Sticky Tour

She ruined it at Sticky and Sweet. That was the first Madonna tour I attended and I was not happy with the altering of the songs this time around though it worked in the past. Love that first performance IMO her best tours were from Virgin through Girlie show

I wonder if she doesn't like Borderline? I doesn't make sense to me that it's only been in two of her tours. I would consider it one of her most universally known songs and a total classic!

One of the reasons the S&S tour was a bit naff. The overdub is awful.

I'm always suprised how strong her voice was when she was just starting.

People aways keep saying she can't sing, and she doesn't have a beautiful voice in the first video, but it is pretty strong.

It's much better than a lot of artists today.

Oh god.... I loved the S&W version of Borderline and I'm usually also not that fond of drastically changing songs.

I've always thought (& HOPED!!!) that before she decides to end her career she will do a "Full Circle" Tour where she sings her classic songs in their ORIGINAL ARRANGEMENTS. That would bring back so many memories & tears!!! C'mon, Madonna....DO IT!!!!!!

Maybe she doesn't like it.

I've always dug that song though.

This is why I wished the original rumours of her touring this year and doing the album next year would have proven to be true.

Then she could have done basically a tour off "Celebration" (a la Janet did off 'Number Ones' - 2 years later) and done a Janet-esque extravaganza of ALL hits in their ORIGINAL forms and rock that head set mic. would LOVE to see:
