IMO he's the best vocalist right now!

Stokley, Rahsaan Patterson, Bilal and maybe/sometime even Maxwell may have a few words 2 say about that.

They'd probably say, "Yeah, I agree!".nod

Rahsaan and B. Slade are friends. I posted a clip of them on stag together with Lalah doing an MJ tribute.

I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

I think Tonex may be slightly ahead...but I do believe Rahsaan & Stokley would give give him a strong challenge.

I never thought I'd say this but... hrmph

At THIS POINT IN TIME.... hrmph

Eric Benet > Maxwell boxed

I know! I know!

As I respect and admire Maxwell's abilities HIGHLY, but Eric has shown so much skill live that its kinda undeniable.

I don't want to admit it but Eric is a monsta on the mic and I think even Maxwell would have a hard time with him. He's in the league of all of these other dudes.

I actually agree with you, based on what I've heard. I think Maxwell is still holding back vocally though. He needs some music or producers that is going to free him up, so to speak. I think he's got something, but we've yet to really hear what he's capable of.

But right now, yes, Eric is doing it. Also I know Kevon Edmonds is all married and laying low now. But he has a great voice also. He needs to get back out there and give us something new.

I just had a funny thought. Could you imagine Prince pulling B. Slade on stage and trying to "Lenny Kravitz" him on the mic? lol

He wouldn't even dare. He only does that to dudes he knows he can show up.

If he tried that with B. Slade, he'd B SLAYED. wink

They should do a call-and-response: P on guitar and Slade on vocals, and see which one can keep up?

lol
