Soul music lovers if you haven't heard of Avery Sunshine, please check her out. Her debut cd is great, it's been out since last year, however I just caught wind of it from the radio single that's been playing (ugly part of me) and word of mouth. I've been listening to it for awhile now and love it. She made an appearance during Ledisi's set in Chicago when she was here last and she saanng. Check her out and support good artists if you like what you hear.

I've been considering getting this album. I like "Ugly Part of Me," but I wasn't crazy about one of the videos I saw on VH1 Soul (I don't remember the name of it.). I might actually pick it up, though.

You might be talking about "All in My Head" there is a video for that song. She has a very r&b soulful vibe, and there are a few mid tempo tracks on it. The most being "I've Got Sunshine" and the slowest being "Ugly Part of Me". She's been in concert alongside Eric Roberson, Rahsaan Patterson, Micheal Buble & Rachelle Ferrell.
