McCartney rocks Yankee stadium... 69 years old, 2 hours, 40 minutes...no breaks, not even a sip of water...39 songs, which only scratches about 10% of his songbook.....
just saying. | |

I saw him on the tour that spawned the Tripping The Live Fantastic album, (Flowers In The Dirt i think) and it was great, 2 and a half hours of pure class, that was 20 years ago aswell. [Edited 7/19/11 9:28am] She Believed in Fairytales and Princes, He Believed the voices coming from his stereo

No desire to see him live, but wow, that's impressive. Some other people should take note. | |

he sounds like he could use that sip of water, just sayin!
I saw Paul in '89 or so, and it was awesome. I saw him just at the right time in my life to fully appreciate it.
Lately his voice sounds a bit worked, and he is still trying to rock out stuff like Jet. He hits the notes, but...something is not quite right.
He was on SNL and did A Day in the Life, and it was perfect, for his vocal range and his age and his musical genre. I would like to see him focus more on that style than trying to still prove he is a real rocker. My Legacy
