McCartney rocks Yankee stadium...

69 years old, 2 hours, 40 minutes...no breaks, not even a sip of water...39 songs, which only scratches about 10% of his songbook.....

just saying.

I saw him on the tour that spawned the Tripping The Live Fantastic album, (Flowers In The Dirt i think) and it was great, 2 and a half hours of pure class, that was 20 years ago aswell. cool

No desire to see him live, but wow, that's impressive. Some other people should take note.

he sounds like he could use that sip of water, just sayin! wink

I saw Paul in '89 or so, and it was awesome. I saw him just at the right time in my life to fully appreciate it.

Lately his voice sounds a bit worked, and he is still trying to rock out stuff like Jet. He hits the notes, but...something is not quite right.

He was on SNL and did A Day in the Life, and it was perfect, for his vocal range and his age and his musical genre. I would like to see him focus more on that style than trying to still prove he is a real rocker.
