Going to premiere of new Aaliyah documentary

So, a journalist I know from my city, Pogus Caesar, was invited on tour with Aaliyah in 1995 to film it and interview her. For the 10th anniversary of her passing, he has made a documentary about the whole thing. I've been invited to the premiere, which is this Friday at a big multimillion pound arts centre complex here in Birmingham that has recently had a very expensive refurbishment. I haven't actually been there since the whole refurbishment so I'm looking forward to checking it all out, as well as very excited for the documentary and the premiere. I wouldn't call myself a huge Aaliyah fan, but I recognise the great songs in her catalog and the tragedy of her early death, of course.

Here's the trailer for it.

Does anyone still care? Her catalog is out of print.
Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

I was thinking the same thing. I liked Aaliyah but her death made her overrated and bigger than she ever was. What about Left Eye? Her death has been forgotten and she had real talent
