Christina A.'s song "Beautiful" is totally annoying. Her Mariah Carey vocal affectations are like nails on a chalkboard.

Just sing the damned song and quit with the heavy breathing, sighing, moaning or whatever the hell it is she's doing with her voice.

Its not so much the singing that really gets my goat (well looks like a goat ), its the nauseating sentiments of the song. Its like she's saying 'hey Im good looking, tarty and the fellas fancy me, they dont fancy U, but Ur beautiful' how patronising is that?!

I really enjoy Christina (and all of her Mariahisms). I think she has the voice to pull off nearly anything she wishes to do.

It's funny that you should use Beautiful as an example, however, considering that Linda Perry only agreed to let Christina record the song if she left out the overblown affectations...

I think 'Beautiful' is a great song. It's much better than hearing the same ol' shit over and over again. Spank me baby, I love you baby, do me baby. I also enjoyed the equally sentimental 'Family Portrait' by Pink. I think Christina is pretty damn fly.

I have to admit that I LOVE Aguilera's song "Beautiful".. I don't like her at all, I can't stand her.. when I heard the song on the radio I thought "oh gosh this is a great song, who's the artists" at the end of the song she starts screaming (or singing.. can't hear the difference when she sings ) and I was like "ohhh my god, did I just say I liked that song??".. I couldn't believe that I liked a Aguilera song!! But I love it!! I dont know if she wrote the song (probably not) but she's definitely the right one to sing it! its really great!!.. sorry but I'm just being honest!

I was listening to the radio during the Christmas holidays. A couple of "shock jock" disc jockeys were goofing on Christina's singing!

The DJs played a clip of Christina singing "Silent Night" and then one of the DJs started to imitate Christina's "warbling" and moaning. It was TOO funny!

Actually, it's quite the opposite. The song is about the beauty within... not the physical beauty u see with ur eyes. The song is sung beautifully by Christina and is probably one of the only songs currently on the radio that the artist can actually perform live and still sound good.

Well, I won't trash her natural talent, but I will trash the way she presents herself lately. Christina Aguilera from 2 years ago, now there was a truly beautiful girl. What happened to her? At least the music has improved, though.

I think Christina will be around for a long time. She has the chops to back her up. She'll transcend the current pop scene and roll with it as long as the public supports her.
