spit Well, we already know what Arnie thinks of the latinas lol

In a six-minute audiotape obtained by the Los Angeles Times, Schwarnegger's staffers tried to guess Latino legislator Bonnie Garcia's country of origin. Schwarzenegger said her origin didn't matter.

"I mean, they are all very hot. ... They have the, you know, part of the black blood in them and part of the Latino blood in them that together makes it," he says..

Schwarzenegger went on to say his friend, Cuban-born former weightlifter Sergio Oliva, is the same way.

The governor knew a tape recorder was rolling during the meeting.

A spokeswoman for Schwarzenegger said the conversation was in good fun. The remarks, she said, were taken out of context.

Garcia herself said that she is not bothered at all by Schwarzenegger's comments. She said she has an inside joke with the governor in which she calls herself a "hot-blooded Latina" who is passionate about issues.

shut your mouth! Really????

nod She later regretted it. But yeah.

Did she because I don't recall her saying she did ... but my memory isn't good at recalling anything after 24 hrs. lol

She spoke of it as a matter of fact, they had agreed it, happened and it was Ossie who at somepoint thought they should cease.

I thought she mentioned it in the last book they did together that it was a mistake. But I could be wrong.

Here's the quote:

Ruby: "But, we both came to realize that we were very fortunate that, in all of the deep profound, fundamental ways, we really, really only wanted each other. It was like a rediscovery of something from the beginning. It's not something that you'd recommend to everybody. But often Ossie has said - and I've though too - the best way to have somebody is to let it go. If it doesn't come back you are free in another kind of sense - in that you find the strength to let go and wish somebody well. So, we thought an open marriage was appropriate for us but it turned out not to be. But then that's what we're all about, we are moving from one position to another in the process of trying to unravel this thing call life."

Ms. Davis may have gone into further details in their book too, she spoke of their "open arrangement" in an interview with Essence Magazine shortly after Ossie's death.

What I do recall her saying was.....

They had been good and married when the sexual revolution emerged. 'She and Ossie were working on different projects away from each other months at a time; they both knew

realistically they would be attracted and curious about other people and they agreed to discreet affairs. I don't recall her mentioning how long their arrangement lasted but at some point it stopped at Ossie's request.

If that really happened and Ossie said "let's stop", good for them. I always admired their love story. This story about them having that arrangement doesn't change my opinion of them. smile

I wonder what the custody arrangment will be like. I imagine JLo will get the twins because they are still so young. Doesn't he have like 3 or 4 from other relationships?

Yeah something like that. I thought he had two but he probably did have three pre-J Lo. I gotta read up on it.

I don't have much to add to this conversation but I do find it awfully funny that this was announced right after Jennifer signed her new contract with AI. lol Smart girl.

She just better hope that there's no real dirt on her that could turn that viewing audience against her. That could be messy. Depending on the contract, there's little that AI or Fox could do now anyway (Unless there's some clause that gives them a way out if deemed necessary).

Marc has a daughter from his teen years-I believe she grew up in Spain-I could be wrong though. That girl has got to be in her early 20s at this point

Jennifer Lopez: "I Loved Myself Enough to Walk Away"

August 2, 2011

Her self-respect and the need to be treated properly contributed to Jennifer Lopez's decision to end her seven-year marriage toMarc Anthony, she says in her first interview since the couple announced their separation.

"It’s not that I didn't love myself before," Lopez, 42, tells Vanity Fair in its September issue. "Sometimes we don't realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself – if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me."

She adds, "I love myself enough to walk away from that now."

Lopez says both she and Anthony worked at making their marriage work. "Sometimes it doesn’t work – and that's sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love."

Saying that she knows her own strengths, Lopez now welcomes the challenges ahead and looks forward to being the best "mother, entertainer and person" she can be. Lopez is the mother of 3-year-old twins, Max and Emme.

As for her ex, "I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer," she says, citing how especially well they work together. "He will always be in our lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children."

Entertainer

In other news, how is her new film expected to do? I see she was smart to choose an ensemble piece, 'what to expect when you are expecting'
