Bernie Worrell ~ All The Woo In The World [img:$uid]http://www.dustygroove.com/images/products/w/worrel_bern_allthewoo_101b.jpg[/img:$uid]
CD (Item 584603) 1978 — Condition: New Copy
A great effort from George Clinton's ringer on the key's Bernie Worrell! Like a lot of the other solo albums P-Funk family members were cutting throughout the 70s, this one was recorded with production help from George Clinton, and appearances by other P-Funk players, like Eddie Hazel, GaryShider, Bootsy Collins, Parlet, the Brides of Funkenstein, the Horny Horns, and others, and is still very much in the P-Funk bag, which is nothing to complain about. What makes it a Worrell solo effort is Bernie stepping up front on the vocals and song writing, and though there's some really nice keyboard work on a variety of moogs and synths, they're just as nicely integrated into the ensemble as you'd hear on any other Clinton act from the time. Tracks include "Much Thrust", "Woo Together", "Insurance Man For The Funk", and "Hold On". © 1996-2011, Dusty Groove America, Inc.
