Harlepolis

LOVE "Black Wax". Love the "Paris Concert as well".

Not DVD, although I sure hope it would be remastered [properly] into a DVD. This one....

Have never seen "Stop Making Sense" despite all the accolades hmmm I'm tempted to check it out, even though David Byrne irks me for some reason.

I don't know if it's on DVD, but I have this on videocassette:

These are some others:

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I'd like these concerts to be released:

Harlem Cultural Festival 1969

The footage that wasn't used in the Wattstax movie

Save The Children 1973

The Jacksons' Destiny, Triumph, Live In Mexico, and Victory. The 1970 Florida documentary would be nice too.

Gap Band 1981 Houston concert

Prince & The Revolution Purple Rain tour (although I do have the original videotape)

Live At Sing Sing (B.B. King, Voices Of East Harlem, etc.)

SOUL! & Black Omnibus TV shows

The cheapest reply, but I can't help it cause there are the best 2 concert tours I've seen in person and on dvd.

None.

Most concert dvd's are ok the first two or three times that you watch them, then I usually just get an overwhelming feeling that they are in fact.......shite.

i like these better as bootleg. otherwise they would be edited so bad that they would not be enjoyable.

I am like you RKJCNE,I've been wanting for Save The Children to be reissued. It's just a matter of time when it will be released on Dvd,I hope.Fingers still crossed as well as footage that wasn't included in Wattstax. There is more unseen footage.I would also like to see a Stevie Wonder concert Dvd from the seventies around the time "Songs In The Key Of Life"album was out and a Dvd box set of classic Earth,Wind & Fire concerts when group leader Maurice White was touring with them.He dosen't tour with them anymore because of health reasons. He along with Phillip Bailey,is another true element of E'W&F.Peace!
