That's was pretty good, Omer is talented and Michael taught him well.

*suspects I'm the only person completely and totally unimpressed by this kid*

*also thinks MJ fans only fixate on him so much because of the rumor that he's Michael's son*

*thinks Bratty (spelling intentional) encourages it and gets off on it and whores out MJ's memory for his own press*

True/knowledgable MJ fans are fully aware that Omer is not Michael's son, regardless of their coincidental resemblance. In the words of MJ himself, that's very "old hat."

And your third point is not the case regarding Omer's musical status. I mean, if he was really actually using his connection with Michael in vain, with his face/appearance, he would have been huge a long time ago.

...Sure they are. lol

Anyone who has been an MJ fan for any real length of time knows that MJ fans have pretty strong tunnel-vision; to them no one exists but MJ, really. For this many fans to be this fixated on this Omar kid, says alot. Usually MJ fans are too busy making fun of and dismissing other male artists - why would they suddenly be embracing this kid and hanging on his every word and watching his every move? It doesn't make sense until you take into account the fact that rumors about MJ being this kid's dad have been circulating for a longggg time now, and with MJ being gone, they look at Omar as their only link to him. If it weren't for that, none of these fans would care about this kid at all. Same with the other weirdo, B. Howard. Fans are starting to sniff around him and kiss his ass now, and it's not because the guy is some uber-talent.

And honestly, Omar isn't that attractive, either, and nor is he that good of a dancer. Interestingly enough, the only people I've seen say that about him are MJ fans - no one else is all that impressed.

I seriously believe it's newer fans that believe this Omar kid. There is no way in hell long time ones believe him. I saw the tabloid article saying he's his child from the 90's so when I started seeing him hang around the family since the death, I knew it was cause he's a family friend, and possibly for publicity though I'm not saying anything lol

Actually, you might have a point because all the ones I've seen kiss this kid's ass, seem to have become fans around the Dangerous era or later. I'm 29, but I've literally been an MJ fan since I was like 3 or 4 years old, and as soon as I saw this kid, I saw through him. He doesn't even look like a Jackson, he's funny-looking as hell, wtf? lol

I'm a MUCH older fan and I don't and never have gave a damn about Omer or Jay Kid or whoever was a "friend" or close with Michael. So if anyone believes it, it's young-ass fans of Michael's who became fans of his in either 2009 or afterwards when he died.

Yep, but sometimes generalizations aren't that far off from the truth. lol

I've been around MJ fans online for...at least ten years now. I've hung out on all the old-school boards, a lot of them defunct now. I could name off some sites and some chats that don't even exist anymore and you'd be like 'wtf?' and have no idea about them. I also hang out in MJ fan chat rooms in my spare time on a daily basis, I've read a LOT of fan Twitter pages as well....so I'm always being constantly exposed to what they're saying and thinking. I was there the time Omar did that "Livestream" broadcast, because MJ fangirls kept bringing it up in the room I was in and spamming the room with the link...

When it comes to MJ fan world, I see all. Unfortunately.

I remember lurking here years ago in an MJ thread, and someone came in asking for links to the MJ fan forums and I remember everybody was like, "Just stay here" and warning them falloff . I was reading that and nodding frantically like a jackass.

Actually, I became a fan at HIStory but liked him before that since before the Bad era if he was played by someone else, I was more into Madonna until I rediscovered him at HIStory, caught up on what I missed out on and fell in love. But I spent an excessive amount of time on message boards and chatrooms and learned a lot and at some point, a fan or two had scanned Omar articles from tabloids and I think the rumor came out again during the second allegations, so when it came out again after the death, I dismissed it. Plus if he looked like Michael, it would be after the surgery and vitiligo, not before, doesn't make sense

And yeah some fans are really stupid though I do like a lot of them and have lots of fan friends. MJJForum is the worst board in the world.

Umm, ok.

But anyway, how can anyone other than some MJ fans be "impressed" if no one else even knows about him? .... Right, my point exactly. As I implied, in general (outside of Michael's hardcore fanbase), Omer is completely unknown, except for maybe in his home country of Norway. There has been very little promotion for his dancing/music thus far, so public opinion, at least in the US, can't be measured yet.

And, quite frankly, nothing you wrote in that first paragraph is accurate. lol Like someone said above, you've stated a false generalization. In actuality, majority of obsessive, or so-called "tunnel-vision" fanatics don't even like Omer, nor Austin Brown, and especially not the completely random/unrelated B. Howard. You are exaggerating Omer's number of supporters. He's not that popular.

It jumped the shark around 2008 lol but definitely post-June 25, 2009.

I'd say in the beginning of 2010 was when the shark was jumped. It's become VERY hostile when it comes to the Michael album, the AEG case, the estate, and any of the Jackson family members

although MJJC is by the most anti Jackson family thread lol, KOP comes at a close second now. A lot of the old members have left too

MJJC is being watched by the "powers that be". Gaz had a temper tantrum recently because someone shut down the server and many alluded that it had something to do with the Estate and the bootleg material that's on the forum, and I think some of you remember when Gaz and the mods had that incident when they were banning whoever said they doubted the authenicity of "Breaking News", "Monster", and "Keep Your Head Up"

The Michael Jackson Vault forum could be great but nobody really frequents there, MJDiehardfans is similar but the issue I have with it is the collectors there that refuse to share

So yeah, Max Jax is the best choice
