I'm gonna check it. I was forced to buy the preferred viewing tickets after work because they

were sold out of general admission. I look forward to good soul food and soul music.

Great show. Great food. Fish and shrimp was on. razz

After 7 opened the show singing to tracks which was disappointing

but they did okay. The Dazz came out and did their thing with their

memorable hits. Then the show really got cooking with ConFunkShun

followed by the Barkays. Both bands brought the heat. It's amazing these

guys still sound great after all these years. The next act SWV was late getting

in on a plane from Canada and only sung 4 numbers. I like them but they

weren't that good at all singing to tracks. They caused Cameo to have to shorten

their show a little bit but Cameo bought the heat too but i was disappointed because

the only songs they had time to perform pre She's Strange were Why Have I Lost

You and Sparkle. There was no I Just Wanna Be, Shake Your Pants, Keep It Hot, or Be

Yourself and lawd knows i've already been Candied and Word Up to death so i'm almost

tone def when i hear them perform it know. lol
