LaToya disturbed by lack of attention, starts more drama about brother

La Toya Jackson: Michael Was Murdered ... His Kids Have 'Nothing'

La Toya Jackson is convinced her brother Michael was murdered. From the bottom of her heart, murdered. And she knows who did it. The second half of Jackson's memoir, 'Starting Over,' deals with her gradual reconciliation with her famous family, specifically Michael. The outspoken singer-actress pulled no punches when PopEater caught up with her to discuss her controversial theories about the King of Pop's death and her belief that Dr. Conrad Murray was just a "fall guy" in an insidious conspiracy to kill. Why? To attain the bottomless pot of gold that is MJ's song catalog. And who told her this was going to happen? Michael. She tells us she's fighting this fight, even if it's unpopular within her family, because she wants what's best for Michael's three orphans. "Michael always used to say, 'La Toya I want to leave everything to my kids,' and here they have absolutely nothing," she said.

She is....she just is. Michael's kids are well taken care and if not mistaken will get their inheritance when they turn 30. In all the mess some of the blame has to go to Michael. No one was forcing him to do 50 shows...he was a grown man. He needed money so that was a reason but still he had a choice. But none of that matters and I hope he has found peace.

i used to think she should shut her piehole, but the more she talks, the more she shows her profound ignorance and idiocy so i say now, 'carry on, toya, carry on'. soon instead of snickering behind her back, people will start to openly point and laugh at this stupid cow on the street.

yeah, her brother left his kids nothing. they're only getting $86k/mo., there are stories in the paper today talking about how money is pouring into mj's estate so when they do get to be of age their individual estates will be substantial, and even she admits the catalog is pot of gold, so why does she turn around and say mj3 have nothing?

carry on, toya, carry on.

as bboy said, i was being sarcastic. for the record, i do understand that mj3 will have a trust, which at the moment is not funded while the executors pay the debts on the estate. however, in the meantime, they are living very well. 86K/mo is nothing to sneeze at.

and i'm assuming you didn't read the rest of my post. as i stated, latoya herself admits the catalog is lucrative, so why is she saying they have nothing? they have and will have plenty.

HAPPYPERSON

really Latoya, the kids Have nothing

Michael Jackson’s $400 Million Afterlife

Over the past two years U2 has earned $320 million, fueled by a massive international tour that recently surpassed the Rolling Stones’ Bigger Bang tour as the most lucrative of all time. The whopping total makes U2 the highest-paid musical act in the world over that period–the highest-paid living musical act, that is.

The top-earning musician on either side of the grave is Michael Jackson, whose estate has raked in $400 million since the King of Pop’s death two years ago. According to court documents filed earlier this year, Jackson’s estate took in $310 million from July 2009 through December 2010. FORBES estimates that another $90 million has rolled in since then from worldwide sales of posthumous album Michael, DVD sales of film This Is It, other licensing deals and robust publishing revenues.

“The continuing overwhelming worldwide interest in Michael confirms his status as the greatest entertainer of all time,” says John Branca, Jackson’s longtime attorney and co-executor, adding that the estate has generated over $1 billion in retail sales over the past two years.

It isn’t just Jackson’s music and likeness that continues to earn prodigious amounts of money. In fact, his most valuable asset is comprised of other artists’ work. Jackson shelled out $47.5 million in 1985 to buy a publishing catalog that included 250 Beatles songs. Ten years later Sony paid Jackson $90 million for half the rights, forming a joint venture called Sony/ATV.

Today, the Jackson estate and Sony share ownership of the catalog, which now boasts half a million songs including titles by Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Eminem and other artists. Insiders place the catalog’s value somewhere in the neighborhood of $1.5 billion, based on estimated proceeds of $50 million to $100 million per year; the Jackson estate still takes half the profits.

Of the $310 million earned through December 2010, $159 million has gone toward paying down Jackson’s debts, supporting his children and covering funeral and memorial service expenses, according to court documents. Branca and the other co-executors have also renegotiated and restructured existing financing arrangements and sought out new deals to generate more income.

To be sure, Jackson’s estate is still benefiting from the massive wave of publicity and nostalgia set into motion by the Gloved One’s death two years ago, and maintaining the current $200 million-per-year average income seems unlikely. But with a number of other substantial deals in the works–including a very lucrative international Cirque de Soleil tour set to launch this fall–it’s conceivable that earnings could level off in the $75-$100 million range annually. That’s more than Justin Bieber, Katy Perry or Kanye West has ever earned in a single year.

“The cash flow on an annual basis is tremendous,” explained Donald David, an attorney who handled the postmortem finances of rapper Tupac Shakur, in a conversation with me late last year. “Sure, it’s going to decline eventually, but it’s going to be a huge amount in the foreseeable future. [Jackson's] kids are going to have grandkids before that money’s gone.”

...This.

I have a really hard time buying that. I imagine he made damn sure he had at least enough put away where his kids would never have to worry about their survival.

Exactly! Its funny, cuz she had gained some respect from being on the Celebrity Apprentice, but now that she keeps on with this nonsense, the little respect she gained is now being swiftly flushed down the toilet. The reviews on Amazon are brutal (and the reviews that are glowing are no doubt from her fans or from someone within Latoya's camp). Saw the book at Target yesterday, they're selling it for $18.20... I'd say thats overpriced by about $17.50 this garbage!

Tuesday 28 June

I read the book; nothing new about the "plot to murder Michael" theory. In fact, several times in the book she says her career was on the upswing but something was always going on in Michael's life that caused her to put her own hopes and dreams on the back burner. Poor thing. Personally, I would let have let the husband do me in before I would go around the world saying my brother was a child molester.

Here is a really good blog about why NOT to spend any money on her book:

http://muzikfactorytwo.bl...ng_21.html

...She also writes about a 2002 "intervention". Latoya unwittingly admits that Michael didn't want to see his family and instructed his security not to let them in. Tito jumped from the Neverland gate, entered Michael's home from an open window and opened the door for the rest of the Jackson clan (aka breaking and entering). Latoya wrote when this "intervention" took place, Michael was holding Blanket who was 3 months old at the time so I surmise it was in May 2002...

rolleyes lol

Naughty Kitty, Thank you so much for posting the blog on why NOT to buy LaToya's book. This needs to be posted on MJ forums. There are idiots who actually defend this woman and others in that family who profit off Michael's name and basically have thrown him under the bus. It would be great if these gullible people and other Jackson Family Defenders could read this blog. The only thing that I don't agree with the blogger is her assertion that Conrad Murray is a "fall guy". Conrad Murray is a MURDERER who tried to cover up his crime. He is the one responsible for Michael's death.

LaToya Jackson Says She Felt Michaels Presence After HisDeath

By Alexis Tereszcuk - Radar Senior Reporter

Two years after his death LaToya Jackson says she has felt her brother Michael’s presence and “it’s a good feeling.” In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com LaToya detailed her experience with Michael’s spirit and how it felt.

“I have felt his presence. You feel someone in the room and it’s amazing. It’s a good feeling,” she said, saying that while she didn’t actually see Michael she felt him.

Michael Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009 and his sister said she was at his house shortly after his death.

“The lights started blinking off and on and I said ‘Michael is that you?’” LaToya recalled. “I said ok, if that’s you I want you to blink the lights a certain amount of times and it happens and it stops and I kind of felt that his presence was still there because I could feel it.”

LaToya is the author of the new book Starting Over where she writes about her family, her abusive relationship with her ex and the new beginnings she’s had.
