The intro is good but it's the same as "Saturday Love" which I can't stand and it used to fool me a lot of times. I remember sitting at my stereo recording songs off the radio and I would hear that intro and rush and start recording thinking it was "You Look Good To Me" and then it would end up being that damn "Saturday Love" and I'd get pissed and stop the tape from recording. Does anyone hear similarities to The Gap Band's "Early In The Morning"? "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Yeah, I also heard a little "Party Train", pretty much the Gap sound of the early '80s was pretty much copped by everyone.

I love when she barks like a little poodle and I love when she goes, "Mmp, mmp, MMP!" Yeah...this song was Da BOMB back in the day and it DOES have a similarity to "Party Train" by the Gap Band. I recall back when Jam & Lewis had just come off producing The S.O.S. Band's, "Just Be Good to Me," that there was some kinda allegations goin' 'round that they (Jam & Lewis) were coppin' Yarborough & Peoples' sound; Their (Y&P's) "Don't Waste Your Time" sounds very similar. Then Cherrelle's "You Look Good to Me" was soundin' very similar to Gap Band's "Party Train." I can't remember the name of the owner of Total Experience Records off the top of my head (Lonnie...???), but it was this person who was making these allegations. Cherrelle is BANGIN' and I'd love to see her reunite w/Flyte Tyme for some more o'that "classic" sound again. [Edited 7/4/11 13:55pm] Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.
