MUCH better than Janet's "Again."

Its a good song, but why compare it to again? That song is just classic, and really, they are both so different, can't they both just be great songs?

Let's not make this Jody vs. Janet, they are both great IMO.

I wished Jody had more succes though, she's very, very underrated.

I agree, it seems that people stopped caring after the 80's which is a shame because I think she has a beautiful voice and her albums in the 90's are so underrated, even The Makeover was awesome, I loved her take on Diana Ross' Love Hangover and The Carpenters medley, her voice can be so beautiful and yet haunting at the same time.

and love love love this song. showcases her range better than any other of her single releases. don't think she ever performed it much though.

The legendary high-energy gay 80's dance party 1984 returns in an all-new format. The new 1984 will be presented as a series of periodic special events in large venues with performances and guest appearances by 80's stars, all to benefit charity.

The inaugural "new" 1984 will be presented on Friday, June 24 at The Gramercy Theater (127 East 23rd Street -- accessible from the N,R,F,V & 6 trains at 23rd Street). The evening will feature a live performance by JODY WATLEY with guest DJ spot by DJ Bill Coleman and will benefit Lifebeat - Muisc Fights HIV. The dance party will be hosted by drag star Dallas DuBois and will featured go-go dancers and other surprise performances and guest appearances.

Doors for 1984 will open at 10pm with dancing until 4am. Tickets are $15 in advance ($20 at the door), available at 212-352-3101 or www.SpinCycleNYC.com. The new 1984 is 18 to enter, 21+ to drink. Please be sure to bring ID, no matter what your age is!

Really. "Again" is a dreamy, Academy Award-nominated classic. I love Jody, but just stop it with the Janet hate.
