The man needs some serious help, not excuses! As long as the people around him...including his fans...keep trying to cover for him and shielding the truth...he'll never see what he has become and he won't see the need to change that for the better.

I just dread the day that unfortunately, I see coming far too soon. The day when I'll hear his songs, all day, on all the radio stations and everybody, everywhere will be talking about how much they loved him and wish they could have helped him but then it'll be too damn little, too damn late. disbelief sad

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

Gawd, I hope not! As long as there is life, there is hope. I hope that he will be one of the ones who decide to finally pursue daily sobriety and do the work they need to maintain it...not like some I have personally known... sad

Thats true but HE has to want to be helped. You cant help someone who wont help themself. He seemed to want to do that because to my recollection did go back to rehab months ago. I am not sure what is going on now though

funksterr

Having spent hours in the studio with crackhead musicians and the like... I can tell y'all for certain, in my reading of El's body language and speech patterns, dude was high on crack. You could tell in the backstage video he was ready to suck that dude's dick for a check. He reminded me of Samuel L Jackson doing the dance for mama before he stole her tv in Jungle Fever. I know that some of y'all will have a hard time understanding, but El is a 20year + crack head now. The guy from the 80's is gone and he ain't NEVER going to be right again. As sad as that is to say. But I know a LOT of formerly famous musicians strung out on the eastside of Detroit. And they ain't never going to get right again either.

eek neutral sad Oh no!!! I knew it- I said it--and I keep saying it :

Stop Putting this man on a stage and keep him in REHAB--have someone with him 24/7.

He needs some serious help before it is too late. I see it coming. Watching those videos was really disturbing.

BUT what was really disturbing was that huge dude, in that 30 sec.video, keep pointing that GUN HAND SIGNAL IN HIS FACE AND THEN AT THE END DOING THE ACTUAL SHOOTING HAND SIGNAL--that part,in the video, was in slow motion when I watched it and I was like eek and when he was still pointing at him and smiling at the camera, that is when I felt, even more, that something is not right. Whois this dude, really? Has anyone seen that man in the past?

I think El is in serious trouble, if this man is truly not his friend. I feel there is something really awful going on behind the scenes that is associated with his drug problem. I hope I am wrong. I hope I am wrong. sad

YOU are so right. I feel this is MJ all over again, a train wreck waiting to happen.

We have seen so many talented people, as well as non-famous people, die from drugs.

It is so wrong to know that some of their family members

are in denial and keep the blinders on.

It saddens me too that so many on this board complains

that they wish that Prince was still this and that

and he uses profanity and still was nasty.

They complain when

he talks about the Bible

and have friends that tries hard to keep morally clean.

Prince,in this point of time, could really be

on a self destructive path, like El, and other people in this world.

Are you not happy that you have never witness

Prince on stage display that type of behavior

that we watched in those videos?

(Don't bring up when he was on stage with MJ and JB lol )

BUT He has never been in rehab, not as I know of, but I do

know that he has never spent years in prison.

He has changed his life in so many

ways that I hope made him happy. I do hope that he

continues to keep pressing forward and NEVER turn back,

and let God's word' the Bible, guide him in his everyday life.

It will take lots of prayer, but Prince should Never get

discourge from those that hate on him..and hopefully, we will do

the same when it comes to the negative people in our lives..

I know Prince and myself and you too, make mistakes, but we

have to praise

those who are really fighting to stay alive and

avoiding the temptation, that they could get

caught up in, that are very harmful and evil.

I know I appreciate those that continue to keep clean and want to

stay on the path that helps you to maintain

a clean conscience and a healthy mind, heart and soul.

May all of us strive to make it our goal.

Stay positive. LOVE NEVER FAILS.

You know what Soul, his family and friends probably have tried... what more can they you do? It maybe that El is a "lifer". I don't know to many people who reach old age with substance abuse issues.
