I know we had a Tyler thread recently but I figured we needed one for all of OFWGKTA

I just got my ticket to see them in B'ham next month, soooo dope. "Goblin" is one of my favorite albums of the year and I've been digging Frank's stuff as well. Only heard a handful of the Mellowhype tracks so far but I'll be copping that album now that the re-release is out.

Musically, they are alright. I would give them maybe a 5 or 6 out of 10. The thing I don't like is how they think they can say whatever they want about whoever they want, which is stupid because they talk all hardcore on songs, even though none of them have nuts. It's one thing to be pathetic and be a studio gangster, but when you let it be known that you don't really do the things you say... How the Hell can you listen to somebody who pretty much tells you that they are a faker? With that + like I said before, the fact they think they can talk shit about whoever, is not a very good combination. Tyler isn't some kind of superhero, I hope he knows that he CAN be touched.

And B.o.B. isn't a gangster rapper but he is a real dude. The guy guy actually comes from a hard backround. And to be honest, he kinda punked Tyler since Tyler didn't diss him back, but instead backed down since he is kind of a puss.

I could honestly care less about how they handle themselves though,

I just think they are extra corny/wack.

They definitely aren't the first rappers to be overtly controversial, and their whole image seems so contrived to me.

Thinking that Tyler and OF are serious about the stupid shit they say = missing the point
