He's cool. I like some of his music, but I'm not buying his "I don't give a fuck personality" all that much. I think it's an act to certain degree. I met him & his whole crew when they were in Detroit recently for the concert they did [which they ended because someone was throwing shit on stage]. They were almost too nice for their persona's to be true. They're a bit of a gimmick imho....

They just seem like young middle to lower-middle class kids acting obnoxious. Isn't that schtick a tried and true formula? They met at a performing arts high school, and Tyler has been quoted as saying he finds it frustrating how people underestimate what they do, and how calculated the image is. People are most likely listening to those artists in a club or in the car.

I can gaurantee that Odd Future gets absolutely no play on the dance floor.
