I don't really care for AmyW's music; she's had a couple songs that I kind of like, but dayum....the woman needs help!

I have a feeling she could easily go the way of Heath Ledger and Curt Cobain without even trying.

I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

She needs to go to rehab "for real" this time. And I don't mean a few weeks, either. She needs to forget about her career for awhile. No performances,no recordings until she gets herself together!

That's exactly what spokesman Chris Goodman from her management has stated. Besides the drinking, is obviously

her underlying psychological problem which needs much attention as well. Step by step, working on all issues.

She also needs to get rid of the assholes who are enabling her.

Yep. I for one am finally over the whole Whitney/Bobby thing since her recent relaspe. She's a grown ass woman and she need to get it together. Amy too. Shiit these chicks got money and access. There's no excuse to keep fucking up. lol

Not to jack this thread into a Whitney/Bobby one, but I have for years said that it was Whitney and not Bobby who was her own, drug induced, worst enemy. Bobby was just there as a druggy side kick. I never put it past her that it was WHITNEY who introduced Bobby to hardcore drugs because obviously he couldn't afford it without her money. doh! Now that the dust has cleared, it's BOBBY who has turned his life around for the better and clearly has benefitted from them divorcing...Whitney, not so much. Funny how people were expecting the exact opposite with Bobby pulling a David Ruffin and ending up poor, broke and a shadow of himself in a crack house.

As far as Amy, yeah she really does need to check the people who are around her that aren't holding her best interests at heart, but how do you tell a drug addict that? How do you make them listen before it's too late?

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Oh and the comment about someone stepping in is hardly stupid - letting her go out on stage now that was stupid

It is stupid. Why should one of the band step in? If anyone should step in, it's her manager. The money's relatively crap playing for Amy considering how big she is and up until around 18 months ago, the band wouldn't even get cancellation fees.

People talk about her like she's 10. She's old enough to do what she does. Intervention is pointless in a situation like this where the person doesn't want to change their ways.

She's been doing stuff like this from day 1. She'd often not turn up at non-UK gigs in the early days as she'd be off getting pissed somewhere; most times when she did turn up, she was too out of it to go on stage. Her old management covered it up, whereas her new one embraced this. And it worked - the fucked-up "rock star" always sells.

And she's not all that in the first place.

Erm, no, the only reason they wouldn't/shouldn't intervene is purely because they knew what kind of wreck she was going into it and it's too late now so the show must go on. They are grown men and at some point you do need to have sanity take the wheel. No one knows if anyone urged her not to go on the stage, but to say it is stupid to suggest someone ward her off is stupid in and of itself. It doesn't matter if someone is a complete alcoholic. Cut them off.

She is famous enough for people to step in and control her brand and prevent her from making devestating decisions. No one in her camp helps her that way. Her parents often speak with the media, similar to Lindsay Lohan's. It's a mess. No one cares.
