That's the problem here...People are so busy discussing Michael's personal life to the point that it gets in the way of his music. If you didn't know MJ personally, stop trying to analyze his life and what he would and wouldn't have did when he was alive. Sit back and enjoy the music. Let his music bathe you in the moonlight *MJ voice*

I can tell you I never met Madoff but I can assure you he was a crook. I never met Pol Pot but I guarantee you he was a crazy, frustrated human being.

The "you don't know him/them" is an idiotic excuse to defend what has no defense whatsoever. It's always used but Jackson fans.

God, is that you?

Nah, I didn't think so either...God knows better.

That would be off-topic in this thread. If you feel compelled to start a new thread regarding Woody Allen, I would be happy to contribute my thoughts and feelings.

I won't cause I couldn't care less about him. You go somewhere where they discuss him. What's the point in talking about someone you don't care about?

And calling others delusional is not a civil discussion.

I enjoy some of Michael Jackson's music. I also am aware of the fact that he at the very least; abused his own children and orphaned them due to his irresponsible drug abuse. See? That's how a reasonable person sees things. Not sure why Jackson fanatics don't have this ability.

A delusion is when one cannot see the truth when it is obvious and agreed upon by the population as a whole.

Again, this is a DISCUSSION thread, not an Appreciation thread. If a Mod would like to rename this as an "appreciation thread," and allow for another thread where rational people can freely criticize the life and music of Jackson, that would be my preference as well.

Judging by the pose, I would say it's shortly after his infamous meeting with Howard Stern, where Howard described that Jackson''s nose was literally melting off his face over the course of the meeting. That would put it sometime before the Bashir interview in 2003.

(Jackson first went to Howard before asking Bashir to conduct the "tell all" interview. When Howard would refused to paint the exact picture Jackson wanted painted, Jackson reached out to Bashir. He probably would have been better off with Howard.)

Hitler's tactics were also once agreed upon by the german population as a whole.

"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really donĀ“t like the idea that he could have it all."

Not sure why you would bring up Hitler in a Michael Jackson thread. lol

You're probably a little young, so you may not have an understanding of history. "Hitler's tactics," were not agreed upon by the population as a whole. Many Germans fled. Others only spoke in hushed whispers of the atrocities for fear of their own lives. Many were simply brainwashed by Hitler's charisma and the Third Reich propaganda machine. Others yet, simply chose to completely deny what was happening. (The inner workings and horrors of the concentration camps was not widely publicized to the German population, and most did not know until after the war what was happening in their own backyards.)

Wait, now that I read what I wrote, I think I may see why you brought him up afterall! lol
