Manchester duo Kevin Liverpool, 33, and 30-year-old Junior Bradshaw were this morning returned to custody following their magistrates appearance in Exeter in the south of England when accused of planning to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH) and conduct a robbery.

Police arrested Liverpool and Bradshaw following neighbours’ reports of them being seen to act suspiciously close by 24-year-old Joss’s home.

A car thought to be owned by the duo was found later, while police supposedly discovered a samurai sword, knives and balaclavas, as well as a map detailing the local area and several handwritten notes, inside the vehicle.

The Mail Online news website claims one note stated that the alleged kidnappers’ plans were to “rob and kill, money in the safe, Joscelyn rob (sic)”, with yet another detailing the scheme to “find a river to dump her in”.

In court, Liverpool and Bradshaw merely spoke to verify their names, addresses and dates of birth.

While they were not invited to enter any pleas, the defendants’ requests to be given bail were refused and they must now appear on July 1 at Exeter Crown Court for a hearing.

Meanwhile, Joss – who is estimated to be worth approximately £9 million – was eager to assure her fans that she is well following her traumatic experience.

Joss – whose real name is Jocelyn Eve Stoker – provided a statement yesterday saying she would “like to thank everyone for their concern”, but stressed that she is “absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal while the police continue with their inquiries”.
