I think Yoko officially released John's original a few years after the Anthology version.

yeah there are still things that Lennon has, who knows if those will ever surface, alot of it though is not in good conidition quality wise. Also it should be noted the BEatles won 3 grammys for the Anthology and Free As A bird, as a group in the 60's when they were the biggest thing ever, they won 4 for that output, interesting.

^^^John's demo was only recorded to cassette. As such, the other three couldn't do much with it sonic wise.

yeah i know, people seem to forget that alot of what lennon did and demo'd is gonna sound like crap, because that is what the technology was then, odds are you wont see anything surface anymore from lennon or the Beatles that was un-released and can be saved

There's supposed to be a 27 minute version of Helter Skelter. It's like the earlier takes which had a different arrangement than the version on the White Album.

my thing is more the stuff from Abbey Road, because they had to know it was going to end, though they have denied knowing it was over. The ANthology raced over this stuff, dedciating about 15 minutes on the video anothology to it which was a HUGE letdown, which all the "wives" coming around on other albums, how was no one getting video of this? But then i have heard that they were rarely even together on this record, they had studio musiicans many times and werent playing alot of the stuff at times, so who knows, just when you think they are dry, something turns up

George Harrison said the group basically broke up when Brian Epstein died. It was just a slow demise.

They used play it waay before they officially released it on this Weekly Beatles show, that was broadcast here in NY.

There used to be a Sunday morning show (in the 80's) called Breakfast With The Beatles, and they'd play unreleased stuff like Leave My Kitten Alone, the fan club Christmas records, and those songs where they were the backup group for Tony Sheridan. I don't recall the show playing many solo songs.
