How ironic. I could have sworn that I saw an interview with Tupac a year or two after this movie was filmed and how he said that Janet J. was really fake to him after filming. Don't know how true it was, but he seemed a bit pissed about it. It seemed as though they had become good friends on the set, but after filming, she allegedly "acted" as if she hadn't even talked to him before. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

True! She changed all her numbers immediately after the film wrapped & never spoke to him again.LOL
Her people also asked him to take an AIDS test before doing a kissing scene with him. Which he refused. But said he would do it only if he was really going to have sex with her. LMAO
I guess Janet felt he was not good enough for her. She was a mega star at the top of her game at the time. He was always mixed up in some sort of controversy. But he was a real honest brotha more honest than any other entertainer back then & to this day. R.I.P. TUPAC will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! I saw that. He said they became good friends and had plans to go paintball shooting after filming completed, but she changed her number the day after the movie wrapped and never spoke to him again. He sounded like he was mad cause he felt rejected. Po thang.
Didi anybody here read Faith's autobiography? She went into detail on how she became part of the beef between Pac & Biggie. Tupac set her up in a secluded environment (with bodyguards) attempted to rape her when she came after him for $25,000 he stiffed her for when they recored together. The picture that she painted of him was a complete Jeckyl & Hyde character; one second he was charming and happy go lucky, then in an instant he was cocky, violent, dangerous and a totally different animal. I know he was a genius and all, but I can't get down with how (1) He played her on the money end for her work, (2) Him trying to use it to blackmail her into being his "bitch" , and (3)going bezerk, getting violent, and trying to hurt her when she said no. Dude had some anger management issues that just are not cool.

Well he did have a good point.
He was one of our greatest poets, indeed.
But, homeboy was also a little off. Janet might have been better off not getting too close. Here are some excerpts from the book (the pages were so out of order I only posted a couple):

I think Tupac was bi-polar. I know several people like him. Back then no one really talked much about it. But he may have needed to be on medication. Mike Tyson was the same way. Faith Evans has major issues herself. She still to this day has issues. She tried to portray herself as innocent. But she was a hood chick(Not to say anything is wrong with that). But marrying a dude after knowing him a few days is not normal behavior. . will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! Well what I've read is only from her point of view. No one really knows for sure what the truth is in that matter. I'm not saying she's lying but I'm not saying she's telling the truth either, just her side of the story. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

Yeah. Ok, Fay.
I wish I could find a copy of that Feb 1996 Vibe Mag Interview Tupac did, online. Where her side of the story is a bit vague. Tupac's went into a good bit of more details and I believed him then and I still believe him now. I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart. |
