IMO a pleasant suprise!!!

I like it...very Sheryl Crow/Wallflowers-ish sound. I totally expected a more pop-sound for some reason...

Maybe a lil more than a Nona Gaye career...Jacob Dylan/Julian Lennon??? Big first record (airplay/media heavy)...then subsequent albums taper off...Capitol CEO Andy Slater (Fiona Apple/Macy Gray) is ALL OVER this record..so it'll get noticed one way or another...

I was also trying to get a peak at Mariah's new video at launch, and it looks like too many people were trying to also...

Not great, not bad...

but the hype will make it hit the charts... then, it will slowly... and very publicly...fade away...

I heard one track off her CD the other morning on my way to work. She was being interviewed by a morning radio DJ. The song was cool...but Lisa Marie's personality came across a bit flat. She spit out alot of "..yeah..Uhum...yeah...Uhum...No...yeah...Uhum..."

Anyway...she IS the KING's daughter...so that makes up for it I guess.

If all the songs on the album are similiar to this one, all I can say is: this is the end product of the 10+ years she spent "working on" the music!? Erm, wow.

Not an awful song but it's pretty forgettable, IMO.

She's a beautiful woman, though, no denying that.

It's actually a relatively catchy song. I think I might even like it were it not sung with that dreadful, flat timbre.

I wouldn't waste one second of my time listening to anything she sings.

How come she didn't turn out 2 be cute like her daddy? :p
