I'm undecided at the moment... he does kinda remind me of Ron Isley for some reason and I do like his vocals. I just think he's trying to be something he's not with the crazy outfits... I once saw a Gnarls Barkley promo photo for their last CD and they were dressed so crazy that I thought it had to be a joke... like he's taking a page from the Lady Gaga book. But, I understand that some artists need to do what they need to in order to stick out.

But, I like him.

Post Goodie Mob I am not impressed with Cee Lo. But he sure had some verses back then.

Me and my family moved in our apartment complex
A gate with the serial code was put up next
The claim that this community is so drug free
But it don't look that way to me cause I can see
The young bloods hanging out at the sto 24/7
Junkies looking got a hit of the blo it's powerful
Oh you know what else they tryin to do
Make a curfew especially for me and you the traces of the new world order
Time is getting shorter if we don't get prepared
People it's gone be a slaughter
My mind won't allow me to not be curious
My folk don't understand so they don't take it serious
But every now and then, I wonder
If the gate was put up to keep crime out or to keep our ass in

For anybody who's not so clear on how long Cee-Lo's been in the public, go back to 1995 when he first came out with Goodie Mob. That first album is still a classic.

Been a fan of Cee-Lo's since the 1st Goodie Mob album. Nice to see him getting recognition in the pop world. Even though, unfortunately a some of my friends on Twitter see him as a Two-Hit Wonder.

When it was announced that he would be a coach on The Voice a lot of people were wondering why. He doesn't have as many hit albums and songs as Christina and Adam Levine, but he's been in the game longer.

Hell, I'm just glad and I'm sure he's glad people stopped calling him Gnarls Barkley! I'm sure that shit had to get real old when Crazy blew up.

Last Cee Lo record is perfection. Cee Lo rocked it live when he opened for Prince in NYC.

I've heard the name Goodie Mob. I know nothing about them and if it's Hip Hop, most likely I haven't listened to it. I just Google'd them, though.

I wasn't listening to a lot of Urban music in the 90's or early 2000's.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I think he's doing good things and I like his music. It's out of the norm...just like me so I like it. I love that he's finally getting the exposure these days that he deserves. It's been a long time coming for him.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Didn't really take notice until "Do You Like The Way" from Santana's "Supernatural." That voice is mesmerizing.

Irritating.

I preferred him when he was anonymous as 'Gnarls Barkley'
