One of her best, yet overlooked albums. This cut is just irresistible. I hear the spirit of Curtis, Eddie Kendricks, Marvin, Stevie in this cut. Check me out and add me on:

Love it! Love how it switches near the end to that classic Baduizm sound. Erykah can do no wrong in my book. Georgia Anne is on some otha shit, but she brings it on this track. "Keep in mind that I'm an artist...and I'm sensitive about my shit."--E. Badu

Georgia and Bilal were killin' it on this track! Definitely a massive highlight, as well as a funky one! Check me out and add me on:

This title made me think of MJJ Student. I guess she had enough of this site. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I don't know. I think she felt that people here weren't taking her seriously, and didn't want to discuss music in the way she preferred (in a scholarly like way). the title is a reference to her belief and support of Dr York. He was also known as the Master Teacher.
