She should. "I didn't know she was underage" doesn't work for men. Shouldn't work for her either. lol

Fan: Omg, I LOVE Rhianna. I want to take a picture with her please.

Security: Sorry young lady, but I'm gonna have to ask for ID first.

Fan: *Shows ID*

Security: Sorry, but you're not 18 yet. Come back in two years. NEXT!

Fan: But why?

Security: Because Rihanna needs to sell some records, girlie. She needs grown women to grope and fondle on, for promotional purposes and doing that to you could land her silly ass in jail.

Fan: Oh, ok! Wouldn't want that to happen. BYE!

I'm no prude but if as I suspect it is...Rihanna's "I'm bi-sexual, see me purr" routine is all an act for record sales. She ought to keep her hands off, young impressionable women...and underage girls...especially...that are not on her payroll as part of the act!

hrmph

Rihanna has never claimed to be bi-sexual and it is not bi-sexual to grab another girls ass or give them a lap dance. I don't think its a routine or a forced act, I know girls like that. Rihanna is just sassy.

And as for the she's 16 argument, I would have been so starstruck to have Rihanna grab my ass if I were her. I don't think it was inappropriate.

Bullshit! rolleyes If a man were to grab another man's booty the same way Rihanna grabs another woman's/girl's booty, you would definitely be the first one to agree that man is gay or bisexual.

Well, regardless, those pictures still look the way they look. They have not been altered by anyone, so really, nothing has been exaggerated in this case.

Ok, I'm going to be completely, honest here: a 16 year old teenager, male or female isn't and really shouldn't be considered a child. I think that the overall age of consent in the US is way too high. That's not a baby in that picture. That being said, in two years, she's not going to 'magically' become an adult either. She still has a long way to go on that path.

If that email is right & this is not tabloid garbage, I think that the aunt, more than anything, has more of an issue with the lesbian undertones that she thinks that the picture implies. The real question is how the girl feels. Does she feel that she was being taken advantage of? Not her aunt. Not the other girl in the pic. Not Rhianna. Not us. How does she feel about it? Does she even feel that this is a real issue to begin with and her aunt is just blowing it up to extreme proportions? Why not go to the police instead of taking it to this site? Her niece is old enough to come to some kind of decision and it's important to respect that. Does she even really feel as if she was being sexually harrassed? If she does, then she & her parental guardians need to go to the police and make a formal report.

Would I feel the same way about this issue had Rhianna been a man instead? Yep.

Also, whoever is the poster has been going on a rampage I think you are only thinking of the law rather than being sensible. If the age of consent was 14 years old instead of 18 would you even care? If you had just seen the picture w/o knowing the girls age you would not have even thought twice about it?

The 15 year old R. Kelly peed on had no problems with him doing so. The law did. We can't excuse something solely on the basis of feelings. Sorry.

No double standards. If it was Chris Brown instead of Rihanna, people would be yelling lock him up; she's a minor.

Besides, it looks like she just has her hand on the other girl's hip. For all we know, the girl asked to take a crazy pic with Rihanna that her friends would enjoy. Highschool girls are mostly silly in everything they do. Nothing about this photo screams "SLUT" or "BISEXUAL/GAY".

I am the poster and I haven't gone on any rampage because that girl is not my child or even related to me. Had she been though, yeah...there would have been a rampage, alright. Of EPIC proportions!

The reason being is not just about the law...which is indeed a factor...and a damn good one! For countless reasons and implications!

It's also the exploitative factor of Rihanna doing that to that girl, to begin with.

She didn't do it because she just couldn't help herself, that girl's ass was so tempting...she just had to grab it. She did it, for the sole purpose of stirring interest into what she's trying to sell. Her music...through controversy...because it can't and frankly doesn't...stand on it's own merits...without it.

I really hate to keep dragging Prince into this but when I was 16 years old...in 1986. Prince was the most controversial musical artist around! However, he didn't have to exploit minors to achieve that!

His talent and his music achieved that...based on it's own merits. However, if that weren't enough and he'd come to Detroit for his infamous Birthday concert and decided that it would be a good idea to pose for a picture with my eager, ready, willing and able...consenting 16 year old self...with his hand on my ass...to generate some sales inducing controversy. The Feds would STILL be digging up Detroit...trying to figure out where my Mama, Daddy, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins...hid ALL of his remains! ohgoon

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

disbelief Are you serious? What you are saying is if a man did exactly what Rihanna did. It would be them trying to get in that girl's pants. But since it was Rihanna and you don't think she's a lesbian...her grabbing that girl's ass is like a high five.

Ok, I'll bite. Let's say I'm making too much of this and it all blows over without a hitch. However, somewhere in the not so distant future of say...a year from today...Rihanna comes out the closet and says she is in fact a lesbian. Would what she did to that girl STILL be "like a high five" to you?

I'm prone to agree with you. I'm sure Rihanna was not thinking of the implications of her actions and how they could affect her career. In this day and age one cannot be too careful. Actually after looking at the photos again Rihanna's eyes and facial expression emotes a kind of lethargic inebriation aka under the influence. Hopefully I'm wrong about that.

Back on point, in my world no famous person (or stranger in reality) hugs or touches any under 18yr old female in my family like Rihanna is hugging/touching in the pix. My relatives would be offended by Rihanna's lack of forethought. Rihanna's sexuality is of no concern to me. Hopefully this bit of media mess will pass over w/out damage to her career.
