Aretha - Don't Let Me Lose This Dream (live, 1968)

----

I'm currently listening to Aretha's I Never Loved A Man The Way I Love You album and it's just flawless to me how she moved from R&B to soul to gospel to pop to rock to blues and back again. music

That album is in my top 20 biggrin The best she ever did in my opinion and her cover of Drowning In my Own Tears if flawless

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

One of the most beautiful, yet overlooked cuts on that landmark release. Truly beautiful. ReRe had something going on with that album, as if she just started a revolution.

Still hard to believe she was still only 24 when she recorded that entire album. She wasn't even 25 yet.
