Psychedelic Funk I'm in the mood to listen to some good old school psychedelic funk. The kind of funk has tweaked out like some really weird P-Funk type stuff. Or maybe some experimental Earth, Wind and Fire type stuff.
Can anyone recommend some good weird space funk albums to listen to?

Eddie Hazel - Games, Dames & Guitar Thangs Fuzzy Haskins - Whole Nother Thang Bernie Worrell -- All The Woo In The World Sly and the Fam Stone -Stand! The Isley Brothers -- The Isleys Live, especially "Ohio" Temptations - Psychedelic Shack Kool and the Gang -- Love & Understanding, especially "Summer Madness" Earth Wind and Fire - Another Time James Brown - Hell Stevie Wonder - Secret Life of Plants Ohio Players - Fire (all their stuff is uniquely psychedelic, IMHO) Curtis Mayfield -- Sweet Exodus

^ yes, these are albums.
I would also suggest early 70s Miles Davis: - A Tribute To Jack Johnson - On The Corner - Agharta - Pangaea
And nothing merits "psychedelic funk" more than Bootsy and his Space Bass:

i'd recommend any of the norman whitfield produced temptations albums...
on the more contemporary side, i think erykah badu's '4th world war' is pretty funky. and her sometimes cohorts sa-ra creative partners' 'hollywood recordings' album is straight psych-funk, although more towards the hip-hop end of the spectrum.
