Psychedelic Funk I'm in the mood to listen to some good old school psychedelic funk. The kind of funk has tweaked out like some really weird P-Funk type stuff. Or maybe some experimental Earth, Wind and Fire type stuff.
Can anyone recommend some good weird space funk albums to listen to? | |

i'd recommend any of the norman whitfield produced temptations albums...
on the more contemporary side, i think erykah badu's '4th world war' is pretty funky. and her sometimes cohorts sa-ra creative partners' 'hollywood recordings' album is straight psych-funk, although more towards the hip-hop end of the spectrum. |

How could I have forgotten War?? Definitely one of the most psychedelic funk ensembles.
