Her record label is reported to ship 1 million copies of her new album ‘4′ to outlets before its release in two weeks time, now Beyonce has taken to her Facebook page to discuss her feelings surrounding the untimely surfacing of the LP on the net yesterday. Find out what Miss Southern Supreme said below…
‘“My music was leaked and while this is not how I wanted to present my new songs, I appreciate the positive response from my fans. When I record music I always think about my fans singing every note and dancing to every beat. I make music to make people happy and I appreciate that everyone has been so anxious to hear my new songs.” Though the unexpected online surfacing of the release will fall into the bad news category for the 16 time Grammy winner, it is worth noting that her last LP ‘I Am’ also suffered the same fate weeks before its release and still went onto exceed commercial expectations globally. With legions of fans just waiting to show their support of the record on June 28th, there is no doubt that ‘4′ will become the chart success it is destined to be.For if any of her previous work is anything to go by, the performer will deliver a project worthy of high praise, commercially and critically.

Yes LORD knows a 3-week-early leak of an entire album would work so well to drum up publicity and generate sales.
Please. NO label wants to mass distribute an entire body of work away for free. And "publicity addicted artist" that might work if Beyoncé were actually bothering to do some promotion for this album. Bitch still hasn't said the word "four". iSnatch, iRead, iDrag. For Beysus and in general. Simple.

I care is a strong song too. I love the end, when she uses her head voice(her highest vocal register) at the end. Us Bey fans say that she should use it more so it's great that she did it there.

How come? | |

yeah the album is so much better than anything she has done prior because there really doesnt seem to be a "chart aim or focus" its a little more raw than usual, but not a fake kind of raw, so like someone posted prior its a B- record some stronger cuts than usual, a bit less filler, and not too much of the BS that plagued her other records.
As for the leak, its her own label and her team that did it so i cant comment on leaks cause artists MOST of the time do it themselves "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

the album is cool.
Too much oversinging though. some of the songs she's straining wayyy to much and forcing her force. some of the grunts and growls are wayy overdone

yeah, she doesn't understand the difference between singing loud versus singing with power.
ITs like if she was to sing a duet with whitney in whitney's prime, beyonce would sound a hot mess.

Even though I'd expected her to follow up on I Am... and not so much Sasha Fierce, "Run the World (Girls)" killed that notion for me, so I was geared up for a bunch of uptempos. However... that's not what we got. In the least. So I was a bit caught off guard.
