i started this thread for a reason, there were 4 beyonce threads on the main page when i logged in today, i want the mods to merge them so that you fans will have just 1 thread to talk about her.

THANK YOU I am so glad someone has said this. They need to just make ONE thread on the girl so the people who want to talk about her can talk. I agree that is why I liked coming here at first because of the variety but got damn all these threads on the girl.. everyone does not care lol they should just make one thread.. its annoying.

If it bothers you that much, why don't you PM the mod instead of starting a thread then? From what I've seen, the mod hardly looks at this section.

Yes... it's annoying... every Michael or Janet Jackson discussion gets lumped into one big mess of a thread, but if Beyonce (or Lady Gaga or Britney) gets 5 new threads a day, nobody does something about it!

There were way more MJ threads than the few Beyonce threads, most of which were falling back pages.

Only one thread is necessitated to make it widely known that Beyonce's new album sucks.

The sticky was made because people contacted the mod, not because they started a gripe thread. People still make separate Janet threads, and Michael threads too. Anyway, there's hundreds of other threads, don't look at the ones you don't like. How hard is that? Griping over something as insignificant as some thread in a music site is silly.

People like complaining, but offer no alternatives. The OP could have just as easily posted something he or she is interested in, but instead posted something useless and adds to the Beyonce threads that is being complained about. No one is forcing anybody to look at any particular topic. If something doesn't interest me, I don't look at it.

I don't have a problem with multi-threads on a particular artist; the issue is why does the anti-flooding policy apply only to some artists and not others. Posters should not have to contantly urge a mod to take action.

I don't think the mods always look at the forums. I guess they have an outside life. I've seen separate Michael Jackson threads go on for weeks before they were locked.

I noticed that on another forum I go to. In that forum, there is a music section which is, admittedly, filled with pop music discussions. A lot of people come in to those threads and say that they want to talk about ''real'' music, but they never bother starting their own threads about what they want to talk about.

OP has every right to voice their opinion. This is no different from the people that complained about the Janet and MJ threads flooding this forum. So the mods shoved all their discussions into one thread. Perhaps the mods should do the same for other artists like Beyonce and Lady Gaga.

The point is to contact the mod, that's what they're for. If someone lives in an apartment and have a water leak, it serves no purpose to tell their cousin across town. I think the problem will be solved faster if they contact the apartment manager or landlord.

Its not fair. This is a BIG problem on message boards. NO ONE wants anyone to voice their objective opinion on anything. I feel it is important to hear members opinions and views being that the forum consists of THEM. Its not about complaining.. the poster just voiced their opinion on something and inquired.

I exactly made the same exact statement but it was in a Beyonce thread. It is ridiculous how her threads flood the forum. While members do not have to come in those threads like some have said, it would be MUCH easier if they just made a sticky for her because to be frankly honest everyone is not a Beyonce fanatic in here waiting for the next update, release etc.. it is beyond annoying.
