Seems like half of Hollywood has signed on to star in the film version of the Broadway hit Rock of Ages.

Tom Cruise heads the cast, which also includes Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Julianne Hough, Bryan Cranston, Paul Giamatti, Catherine Zeta-Jones and R&B diva Mary J. Blige.

This brand new publicity image of the singer was released today, showing Blige rocking a head full of bead-tipped cornrows and decked out in a very sparkly 1980s ensemble.

She certainly looks the part!

Rock of Ages is currently filming in Miami and hits theaters next year.
