Having a Bowie weekend ...and i'm loving it! I liked a few songs of him, but never really put much attention to his music...until now Can't believe how beautiful his melodies are. This is real music. He goes from dramatic to funky to rock.
I'm probably the last guy on earth who discoveres his music, but better late than never.
My favourites till now:

It's never too late to discover any music.
Hunky Dory, Low, Station To Station and Heroes are some of my favorite Bowie albums.

so weird. i dusted off my bowies albums as well. i've been dwelling on diamond dogs and the man who sold the world. i got into bowie because of my favorite teen age rock band known as christian death. rozz williams the lead singer was totally into bowie and so i figured i'll give him around a bout. i bought ziggy stardust, the man who sold the world, hunky dory and diamond dogs. i initially fell in love with honky dory. i still love hunky dory but i'm been listening to diamond dogs and the man who sold the world. the man who sold the world according to some have certain occult references. i can't really decipher them well except for the whole kahil gibran thing.

One of my favourites is definitely Cat People...the song he wrote for the movie of the same name...which is indeed highly recommended if you want to seee Natascha Kinski butt-naked
It was also featured in Tarantino's latest movie, if I remember correctly...great tune! [Edited 6/5/11 5:20am]
